Daily tasks and shared living an important services provided by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for people with disabilities. This service helps NDIS participants with daily living activities they may have difficulty performing on their own. It includes assistance with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and maintaining a household.

Accessing daily tasks and shared living supports is easy for NDIS participants. Participants can include this service in their NDIS plan by discussing their needs with their support coordinator or NDIS planner. They can also find registered providers offering this service through the NDIS provider portal or by contacting the NDIS contact center.

NDIS participants may need and use daily tasks and shared living services for a variety of reasons. Some participants may have physical disabilities that prevent them from performing household tasks independently, while others may have intellectual or developmental disabilities that make it challenging for them to manage daily tasks.
